Catherine Borkowski E-mail: c.borkowski@salin.com Catherine Borkowski is Senior Vice President and Manager of Wealth Management at Salin Bank & Trust Company. She was a former tax attorney for the Indiana Department of Revenue, Inheritance Tax Division. Ms. Borkowski has served as pro tempore judge for the Marion County Superior Court, Lawrence Township Division. She is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State bar associations, Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis, and the Indiana Bankers Association, where she serves on a special task force to review proposed state legislation for trust and probate statutes. Ms. Borkowski received her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from Indiana University. Kate actively volunteers with many organizations including Crestview Elementary School, Indiana State Police Camp, Riley Children's Hospital, Special Olympics and the United Way. She has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Castleton since 1992.
Theresa Walker E-mail: t.walker@salin.com Theresa brings her experience and insight to her Salin clients as she helps them maximize their investments while minimizing tax implications primarily through institutional trusts, retirement services, and custodial accounts. Theresa joined the Salin Bank team after 24 years with a large national bank, where she handled both personal and institutional accounts within the Investment Management Group.
Steven Hackman E-mail: s.hackman@salin.com Steve provides brokerage and investment services, comprehensive retirement and financial planning, and trust administration for clients in Fort Wayne and surrounding counties. He works closely with individuals, families and corporations to design a comprehensive plan tailored to meet their goals and expectations.
Genan Kirby E-mail: g.kirby@salin.com Genan comes to Salin Bank with 25 years of banking and investment experience. She is responsible for Trust and Investment Business Development, Investments and Financial Services. Genan previously spent two and one half years heading up our Indianapolis Banking Center. She has a vast knowledge of the many Salin Bank offerings. Genan graduated from Indiana University. She is a series 7 licensed Investment Advisor. Genan has helped to run several large 401k plans, managed a large portfolio of clients and their assets. She has enjoyed a lengthy tenure in assisting clients in planning for retirement, transitioning their businesses and transferring wealth from one generation to the next. She works with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). She has also spent some of her free time volunteering for Junior Achievement’s "Exchange City" program and has been involved with a local high school "mentoring" program. In addition, Genan has been an Executive Board Member of a local not-for-profit. John Roederer E-mail: j.roederer@salin.com Having begun his financial services career in 1974, initially joining the staff of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a federal bank regulator, Mr. Roederer joined Salin Bank and Trust Company in 1999 as the senior investment professional. For more than 30 years, Mr. Roederer has had the opportunity to participate in some of the most sophisticated, often quantitative, techniques that are applied to investment management. Mr. Roederer believes that to control risk and add value to client portfolios, the most advanced, yet proven, ideas must be applied. This is an ever evolving and continuing process. He also oversees the trust group’s operations area. top |
