Improving the economic and social challenges facing Indiana communities is something Salin Bank firmly believes in. That’s one of the reasons Salin Bank is a proud supporter of United Way of Central Indiana and its 105 different partner agencies. In 2009, Salin Bank raised tens of thousands of dollars from fundraising, pledges, and matching gifts.

In addition to its partnership with United Way, Salin Bank sponsors local art events, including the Concert on the Canal event for the Historical Society, and supports programs to help families of modest incomes realize the American dream of home ownership.

"Our work with efforts such as the United Way and Habitat for Humanity are about the spirit of sharing and paying it forward. Through these and other programs, we’re able to give back to the community and make a true difference in the lives of others."

Salin Bank’s philanthropic efforts are further supplemented by the Salin Family Foundation, which supports future generations of Indiana residents through a college scholarship program for high school seniors.

"We believe the future is dependent on the success of the next generation. By providing financial assistance to some very worthy students in Indiana, we are helping a new generation succeed as they head to college," Salin says.
