Ways to Protect Yourself

  • When prompted, you will be asked to provide a valid Access ID and Password to gain access to your Salin Bank accounts and information. Your Access ID and Password are encrypted and your Password will never be displayed as you are entering it.
  • Enhanced Online Security verifies your identity in two ways. Each time you log in to Internet Banking, the bank identifies you and lets you identify the bank using a private image and pass phrase. When prompted, you may select an image and a phrase to go with it. You also may register your home or office computer.
  • Salin.com servers are protected by a firewall, which is combination software and hardware product that limits the access of outside computers to Salin.com servers. Only authenticated users may send and receive transmissions through the firewall.
  • Your online sessions automatically log off following a specified period of time.
  • Customer data is stored in an encrypted format in Salin Bank’s Web site database.
