Bill provides strategic and financial leadership for the entire Salin Bank organization. While Bill’s home and office are in Indianapolis, he travels the state visiting with clients and employees. Bill has built his entire career in banking, with progressive responsibilities in leadership roles within banks from Columbus to Lafayette and Fort Wayne to Indianapolis.

He is actively involved with Salin Bank’s clients, which keeps him abreast of the real-world challenges and opportunities of today’s business owners.

Outside of his duties at Salin, Bill serves on the CICOA Foundation Board of Trustees and is an active member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Bill holds a degree in Economics from Indiana University.  He also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking.



James P. Alender

James P. Alender has more than 20 years of experience as a commercial bank executive and spent the last 18 years as a hospital administrator.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer for Salin Bank, Alender focuses his strategic efforts on finance and accounting, retail banking, wealth management and operations. In addition, he will support Kokomo, Carroll and Cass County commercial banking clients.

His banking career included stints at Key Bank as the district president and at Society National Bank serving in the same capacity. He also served as a senior vice president for Ameritrust National Bank in Indianapolis and Union Bank and Trust in Kokomo.

Alender is a graduate of Krannert School of Industrial Management at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Marketing. He is a graduate of the School of Banking from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin.

Alender is a recipient of the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs Service Award and a recipient of the Indiana University Kokomo Distinguished Service Award. He is actively involved with the Indiana University-Kokomo Advisory Board, Finance Committee of Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance, Kokomo Noon Rotary Club, American College Healthcare Executives, and the Kokomo Country Club.



Tim Hogan

Tim leads Salin Bank’s Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Retail Operations, Information Technology, and Facilities across the state of Indiana. 

Tim’s broad leadership experience in banking ranges from sales management to systems and operations. Prior to joining Salin Bank, Tim spent many years working in sales and operational leadership roles with a large national bank.

Tim holds an MBA from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of Michigan.



Brian Hunt

Brian has nearly 30 years experience in the practice of law, with 23+ years as corporate counsel for publically-held airlines. Prior to his time in the airline industry, Brian was in private law practice at two Indianapolis law firms.

As a member of the executive team, Brian will assist several departments to help Salin Bank increase its responsiveness to clients’ needs.  He will also focus on compliance, internal policies and procedures and refining best-practices management techniques.

Brian holds his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.



Robin Walker

Robin brings more than 20 years of Human Resources leadership in banking. At Salin Bank, Robin provides business strategies and operational priorities to the Retail Banking, Human Resources, Training, Marketing, Mortgage and Small Business teams that serve our clients and crewmembers across the state of Indiana.  Areas of concentration include retail sales, retail administration, retail operations, change management, talent management, workforce diversity, leadership coaching, performance management, compensation planning, and benefits administration.

Robin is actively involved in the United Way of Central Indiana; Habitat for Humanity Family Selection Committee; VITA Tax Volunteer; HR Committee for the Indiana Banker’s Association; the Human Resources Association of Central Indiana and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.

Robin holds a degree in Accounting from Indiana University.
